The notification system was developed in response to the regular need to update my mum on exchange rates, specifically USD/NGN and GBP/NGN. We were after a simple yet comprehensive system to also monitors stock prices, providing timely and relevant email alerts. I needed a user-friendly and efficient mechanism for delivering these updates seamlessly.
Back in 2020, I invested in Nio, anticipating its rise to market dominance and a fierce rivalry with industry leaders. Instead, the stock has plunged into the red, leaving me searching for a way to track my now heavily diminished investment without constantly confronting its current value.
My overall objectives were to:
- Design and Implement a system capable of tracking/notifying users about rate changes.
- Improve Data Accuracy
- Create system architecture that allows future expansion and integration of additional features.
